See By The Mouth of God

Updated: Jan 13, 2020

It’s 2020, a New Decade has been ushered in and likely you can feel the buzz of new intention being extended into the hands of hope and the safety of Faith. The fragrance of promise manifested laces the wind and the urgency to relax, relate, release is potent. Letting go and closing chapters to things that threaten the manifestation of your promised days!

“We (I) have become his poetry, a re-created (woman) people that will fulfill the destiny he has given (ME) each of us, for (I am) we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before (I was) we were born, God planned in advance our (MY) destiny and the good works (I) we would do to fulfill it!”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I altered the verse for myself to make it more personal! I have committed to confessing this scripture several times a day. This scripture along with several other passages like:

“You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭138:8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I was reminded of this one during my Pastor’s message this morning:

“I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this glorious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you and will put his finishing touches to it until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

NO QUITTING, NO CRUMBLING, NO FORGETTING!!

“But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:57-58‬ ‭TPT‬‬

**Resolve- To decide FIRMLY on a course of action**.

I want to encourage us to Decide daily. I am a woman who feels everything deeply. It’s embarrassing sometimes. I have loathed it. When you feel deeply and you are also an analytical mind you want to understand or know why you are feeling or experiencing what it is that you are experiencing or feeling! If you peer into my history you can trace how many times that mode of thought has ensnared me at the most fragile times of my life. I do believe there is a place for my deep feeling and my inquisitive nature. However in a season where building is paramount, I mustn’t allow my emotions to take me on a trip led by doubt or fear or unreasonable affections. I MUST ONLY say what my Father sees for me and has said concerning me! #TunnelVision

Story Time?

This week a cycle showed up. Knocked the wind out of me. I resented that my response was one of longing. I was frustrated and emotional concerning it. I was disappointed to still feel like I was in that space. When I got home that evening, I prayed, denounced and renounced I could (lol) until I fell asleep. That morning while routinely checking my phone, right there in my blocked voice messages was an open invitation to jump back on that merry-go-round. I was flabbergasted! Like Whoa! I left the message there contemplating being nosey enough to just listen for a second. Why would I betray myself in such a way? I text my friend for some good girlfriend accountability and deleted the message. I had been praying and confessing and reminding myself of what God had promised me concerning my future. That moment wasn’t about what was still there as much as it was about how I would RESPOND TO IT! **DECIDED** A woman or a man who lives like they don’t believe that there is a GOOD future for them may have taken a peek into History’s snare like I had done so many times before...

BUT. NOT. THIS. TIME, BELOVED!

As I walked to the bus stop one morning this week the “feel sorry for yourself” shadow tried to overwhelm me. I got ready to beat myself down but I stopped. Not this time! I made a pact with myself. “Jessica you are allowed to cry, but you are not allowed to curse your now!”

Cry but confess! Hold tightly to your confession. GOD DOES NOT LIE! He can’t. So if we measure HIS truth against our present “reality” who’s going to FIT? Who has the proper fit for our future? OUR promises breathed from the mouth of the TRUE AND LIVING GOD -or- My temporal “reality”?

I have experienced so much loss that for a lot of years it snatched my ability to SEE what was Said by God concerning my life and my family! This week I believe has been a testament to an internal climate change and my ability to respond well versus feeling threatened or defeated!

“My dear brothers and sisters, what good is it if someone claims to have faith but demonstrates no good works to prove it? How could this kind of faith save anyone?”

‭‭James (Jacob)‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Family, in 2020 our RESOLVE MUST BE TO SEE from the mouth of God-who gives Vision. SAY what HE has Spoken. Do what He has given us the power and ability to do though Jesus Christ!!!

I implore US to LIVE LIKE OUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON IT!

Suga, Cause it does..... (WHEW!)

I LOVE US!

Let’s THRIVE!!

Jess 😘

“You are ENOUGH... don’t forget it!”
